  • “They let us tent camp here for the eclipse. Lovely little community here! Everyone I met was so wonderful. Showers and bathrooms were very clean and maintained. The grounds are pristine. The little birding walk is very cute and well done. They were all so welcoming and sweet. We got invited to a soup dinner in the community room while we were there. We were much too busy running around the state to go, but it was sweet to be invited! I do not recommend tent camping in south eastern Texas in April unless you love sweating; but I do recommend parking your rv here and staying any time of the year! I think you will also be glad you got to experience this place.”

  • “My husband and I found this place by accident, or actually thanks to God, last year. Our plans were changed thanks to a hurricane in Florida and started looking in this area, due to grandparents coming to the RGV area years ago. Americana popped up on my phone! We called and spoke to Beth, the manager, who convinced us this would be much better than Florida! She was right! This is our second year, first year with our camper, loved it so much, bought a park model in the park, and no regrets so far! We have met new lifelong friends, many adventures! Park is great, beautiful trees and flowers! Great amenities, great manager, and activities! Come check it out! Thanks Beth!”

  • “Great spot if you’re looking to visit southern AZ. The 3 locations we were going to were Kartchener Caverns, Tombstone, and Bisbee. All under an hour to drive to. Make your reservations for the caverns ahead of time and the Queen Bee mine in Bisbee. We were close enough to do the caverns and Tombstone in 1 day. Bisbee with all its steps the next day. The Benson KOA was clean, great showers, laundry, pool table. The pool was being redone. Fairly quiet except when a train would pass by. We would definitely stay here again!!”
