Our Story

very clean and quiet park. mostly permanent or long term guests. the pool was great and looked new, an excellent cool off for the 104 degree summer days. the park could prove to be difficult to navigate with extra large rigs due to some low hanging branches. these same trees make for excellent shade once you get parked. we really enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back

Great location near Bentsen Park, lots of trees on property, nice community center with common kitchen and Wi-Fi for events. Everyone staying that I met very friendly. Staff very helpful.

Staff was great, large spots with multiple gates for ease of access. Looks like they are doing some upgrades to the park. WiFi throughout the park, clean bathrooms, laundry and community areas. Bird sanctuary walkthrough was nice.

We had an amazing stay last weekend at AmeriCana RV Resort. Staff met us and introduced themselves as we drove in, helped us park in our space (even offered to trim a limb that was touching our roof!), and made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone was very welcoming to our dog as well! The first night, there was Bingo in the club house. We were warmly welcomed and introduced to everyone, the bingo callers were so charming and funny. There's a very cool, well-maintained birding area with feeders and seats. We saw a lot of green jays and chachalacas! We felt safe, welcome, and relaxed for all of our 4 nights. It's very quiet at night and everyone is so very respectful. We bought a mug with the iconic green jay to remind us of our very fun stay!

During our month long stay at Americana The Birding Center RV Resort we were happily surprised to find a wonderful community of RVers. Lots of birds to enjoy in the quiet park-like setting. Great place to explore the Rio Grande Valley area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Americana! Beautiful quiet little spot with lots of trees and grass. Nicely landscaped. Loved the bird sanctuary and walking trail. Super friendly people and very helpful property managers. Nice mix of younger and older folks. Close to amenities and away from the noise of the freeway.

What I love best about Americana are the tall trees and wide lots. There are organized activities or just walk the park to see the amazing birds of the Rio Grande Valley.
